First of all thanks for your time in documenting this so well.

I can’t seem to get the assignAdminToken to trigger.

Due to updates in Node.js and firebase-tools, (i think) I have had to update the code to get rid of errors but essentially the code is untouched.

I have added admin: true and isAdmin: true ( I use the latter to control access to the admin control panel). However when I authenticate in your example, I get Logged in but I do not have admin access…

Do you have any ideas at all, or does anyone else have similar experiences?
